Originally issued on Mike Vernon's Blue Horizon label, the record mixed blues standards with originals by Green and Spencer. The band's playing is lean, direct and deeply atmospheric: "I Loved Another Woman" hints at the Latin-blues textures Green would refine a year later on Black Magic Woman, while "Looking for Somebody" delivers a balance of wry humour and emotional vulnerability that became a hallmark of this era's sound. The album spent an impressive 37 weeks on the UK chart - without a single - establishing Fleetwood Mac as one of the most compelling groups of the period.
