RareVinyl.com and eil.com have been the global home for music lovers since 1987 — and our team is growing. We're looking for sharp, hard-working people with a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude, at our warehouses in Meopham, Gravesend, Kent.
In business it often comes down to who, not what. We don't pigeonhole talent — many of our staff work across more than one department — so if you think you've got something to bring, we'd love to hear from you.
Jobs currently available — August 2026 Currently hiring: Warehouse · Packing & Despatch · Office & Admin · Stock Adders · Record Buyers
What roles are available?
Despatch & Admin — warehouse, picking and packing, order processing, office admin
Our Despatch & Admin department is varied, and it's the perfect place to find your feet and learn the business from the ground up — from picking and packing customer orders, to imaging items for the site, to helping with daily stock deliveries into our warehouses. No two days are exactly the same.
No experience necessary — full training is provided. A willingness to learn and get stuck in is what matters.
Product — stock adders, record buyers and music specialists
Our Product department is for the collecting-obsessed, whether that's out-of-print collectables from 50 years back or today's new releases, back catalogue and forthcoming albums. You'll handle hundreds of records, CDs and collectables a day, so efficiency and superb time management are critical.
A broad knowledge of records, an appreciation for collecting and good writing skills — all while embracing new tech — could see you fit right in. Experience buying, collecting or selling records or collectables online, or in wholesale, distribution or the music industry, will fast-track your career here.
Both departments involve moving heavy boxes of records — after all, some of the rarest collections on the planet pass through our hands daily.
What do we offer?
A warm, welcoming working environment. We like to think we're all approachable, yet professional at every turn.
- Full training, always. We'll train you on the job and support you every step of the way, helping you grow and develop your skills. We encourage learning at every stage.
- A team that stays. Many of our team have been on board for close to 30 years — and we'll share what we've learnt.
- Varied bonus schemes across the business.
- Flexible hours. We work five-day weeks including weekends, and hours can be flexible for most roles.
- Extraordinary stock. Some of the rarest records on the planet pass through our hands every single day.

Do I need experience?
Not for our Despatch & Admin roles — no experience is necessary and full training is provided. For Product roles, a broad knowledge of records and a genuine appreciation for collecting matter more than a formal CV.
Do I need to have worked in the music industry?
No. We'd love to hear from people with music industry, record shop, wholesale or distribution experience — but most of our staff didn't come from music jobs at all. Attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn count for more.
How do I apply?
